Hello

Hi there, my name is James.
Even though I suffered from anxiety for a number or years as a young person and later on as an adult, I was always determined to keep pushing myself to lead a fulfilling life and manage the anxiety as best I could. 

Aa a middle aged adult I came to the resolution that the one thing that kept me motivated was learning. I loved and still love learning about new things, especially when it comes to learning about the self.

After deciding to change career later on in life and move into the mental health/ coaching sector I started working with clients of all ages and backgrounds. I loved supporting individuals through talking with them and helping them find ways for them to develop positive behaviours and over time feel and think better about themselves and the world around them.

But as productive as talking is, I felt there was something missing in my work. That was until I started researching and recognising how the body and mind works together as a team, a magically powerful team.

I now enjoy sharing the beautiful blend of talking therapies and mind body techniques including eft/ tapping, mindfulness and other energy based activities by working with individuals and groups.

 

I created the 'Its not magic but it could be' concept to help convey the idea that we can all practise relatively  simple activities in order to develop positive mental wellbeing by combining awareness with action.

Whatever age we are, we can all take advantage of the magical powers of energy and breathwork, mindfulness and talking therapies. That is why all the resources on this site are designed for ages approximately 7 upwards.

As well as providing one to one coaching, the goal of 'It's not magic but it could be' is to bring families, classrooms, groups, organisations and communities together in putting into action the tools and techniques highlighted on this site and associated social media channels.

Get together

Get together with family and friends and make a commitment to work together on improving everyone's mental wellbeing. Buy the book in paper back or kindle, the the video workshop or any of the downloadable worksheets and start doing the activities within to enjoy a potentially magical transformation.
